Gras Throws Sisters Seventeenth Birthday Mardis Gras Party Ideas?
Ive decided to throw my sister a Surprise Seventeenth Birthday party since she did not have a Sweet Sixteen last year. The theme of the party will be Mardis Gras. Does anybody have any ideas of what to do and what to expect all all that? About 20 people are invited and its gonna be like a house party with music and all.

I think they have packages that include beads and stuff too. You HAVE to have a king cake. And where was it? I've only been to the New Orleans parades(the best ones) and some of the suburbs ones. I haven't been to that many as when I was a kid but I'm planning on trying a suburb one this year.

mardi gras tees What color would you pick for prom, and what song for king and queen would you suggest?
Ok so we cameup with a good theme that our school has never done. Heading more toward the whole diamond in the rough idea with sand etc.. So think aladdin but not it to the tee, more realistic i guess. We found two main colors. Gold and White, and were trying to find the third ( its going to be an accent color). Last year we used red, so were trying to rule that out as option for now. If it comes down to it, i guess we will use that color. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP.
ps.- If you can think of any other themes that dont involve casino, cinderella, mardi gras, or the typical prom themes that would be amazing.
pss. Also last years prom theme was phantom of the opera deep love type thing.
